Our clients initially came in to our offices to discuss a 7m x 7m kitchen extension.
They were looking to create a more contemporary look and feel for their detached home in Freethorpe, just outside Norwich.
Our designers worked with the client for a number of weeks prior to the start of the project. Every aspect was discussed in detail – from floor plans through to wall tiles – in order to ensure the client’s vision was realised.
The extension was built using our SIP system, which allowed us to build the structure without internal supports, giving a totally open space. The kitchen design brief included a central island with extractor system, underfloor heating, floor sockets, recessed lighting inside and out, plinth lighting and bi-fold doors.
The rear aspect is completely glazed and features 6.5m bi-folding doors from the Warmcore aluminium range. The new patio offers an almost flush transition from indoors to outdoors, with the minimum amount of effort.
During discussions around the design of the extension, additional works were incorporated into the project in order to ensure the interior layout complemented the new extension.
